Florida Non-Binding Arbitration Coverage

Many Florida judges are now sending their cases to Non-Binding Arbitration. LegalFeeGuard can also be used to cover the exposure your clients face if you request a trial de novo after a Non-Binding Arbitration award under Florida Statute 44.103 and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.820.

The policy will cover the shifting of attorney’s fees and costs against the plaintiff if you do not obtain at least 75% of the arbitration award, or against the defendant if the plaintiff obtains more than 125% of the arbitration award.

The LegalFeeGuard policy will continue to cover any Proposals for Settlement in the case under Florida Statute 768.79 as well. The additional premium for this added layer of protection will be 1% of the limit selected.
